Our wonderful sock partner is looking for real walkers to feature in a promo video being put together for Christmas, and if you tick the boxes above they’d love it to be you.
Our aim is to create a video that shows why the #Walk1000Miles community and Country Walking readers love Bridgedale socks and why they are a great addition to your kit bag. You can help us by answering a short series of questions whilst filming yourself on your phone!
Questions to answer
1) What do you love most about walking?
2) What do you think makes the perfect walking sock?
3) What do you like about Bridgedale socks?
4) What does it feel like taking your socks off after a good, long walk?
5) Has #Walk1000Miles helps improve your quality of life? And how?
Try to read back the question in your answer i.e. if the question was “What did you have for dinner last night?” your answer could be “For dinner last night I had lasagne…”
Handy filming tips
Here are some handy tips to bear in mind when filming yourself talking on your phone:
1) Film horizontally / landscape.
Selfie-style is preferred rather than someone else filming you.
2) Pick a nice, bright spot
By a window of in the garden is great!
3) Choose a quiet, calm place
Unwanted noises in your video will be distracting
4) Film in HD
Make sure your phone is set to film in high definition or the highest possible quality settings!
