You are now coming to the end of your Walk 1000 miles campaign for 2019. There is something magical about walking in Winter, whether it’s the frost, clean crisp air, soaking up spectacular views or stopping for a hot drink to warm you up along the way.

To help get you through those Winter months and clock up those final miles, you need the correct pair of boots that will protect your feet while keeping them comfortable.

The Scarpa SL Active range is the ideal option for those darker, wetter and colder days. It is the 9th generation of these Scarpa classics and it is continually dependable and more comfortable than ever. It is built around a 2.8mm Sherpa HS12 leather - the toughest and most water resistant of any full grain leather that Scarpa use. The new speed lacing system gives a sure hold across the instep, and the leather lining inside the boot is instantly luxurious and comfortable.

These boots will see you through a variety of terrain you’ll find in the British Hills this Winter – rough paths, rocky ground, wet paths and snow.

The boot is available in both men’s and women’s version and is C1 crampon compatible.

Just like tyres on a car, the rubber parts of the boot can wear down with use. The SL range can be fully re-soled, extending the lifespan of your footwear and returning it to its very best level of performance.
